Urology Nurse Consultant
Graduating from Deakin University in 2012, Claire commenced her professional employment as a registered nurse at Austin Health’s Victorian Spinal Cord Service in Melbourne. Claire undertook further training in Urology and Continence nursing, and now practices as a Urology Nurse Consultant. At the Austin Hospital, she is the Resident In-Reach Clinical Nurse Consultant and helps run the Spinal Urodynamics Service.
Claire has a keen interest in the management of incontinence in both men and women, neurogenic and non-neurogenic bladder conditions, and promotion of optimal bladder health. She is widely recognised for her clinical expertise and experience, and has been an invited speaker at various scientific conferences.
Claire has an expansive knowledge of various continence management products, and is a registered SWEP provider. Claire is available for Uroflow studies, continence consultations and intermittent self-catheterisation education, in conjunction with A/Prof Gani on Thursday mornings.
